Hello everyone,
I would like to install my Canon LBP-1120 printer on Windows 7 but I'm having trouble. I downloaded the driver from the official site (https://www.canon.fr/support/consumer_products/products/printers/laser/laser_shot_lbp1120.html?type=download&page=1 in French and for Windows 7.
The problem is that there is no setup.exe. I tried plugging in the printer and letting Windows Update search for the driver itself. It found nothing. I then tried to point Windows to the folder of the driver I had just downloaded. It notified me that Windows could not install this driver.
I had used the 2nd method on Windows XP a few years ago and it worked.
I should mention that I am on Windows 7 64-bit (although it seems Canon doesn’t differentiate between drivers for 32-bit and 64-bit versions).
If anyone has installed this printer on a W7 64-bit, I would appreciate your help!
Thanks everyone!
