    On most laptops, the password to unlock the computer is stored in NVRAM (non-volatile RAM), which does not require power to retain information. Therefore, resetting the BIOS is likely to be useless.

    Hello
    Disconnect the charger
    remove the battery
    remove the hard drive (2 screws on the underside)
    remove the hinge cover: the plastic bar that contains the buttons, toward the screen. It is clipped in place; lift the right side first.
    remove the keyboard, 3 screws. Tilt it carefully toward you, the cable is underneath.
