CMOS battery not found on Acer EL1352

There is surely a battery; it is on the motherboard (in the PC)

It is a flat, circular battery, resembling a 2€ coin in stainless steel placed in a contact holder...

It is lithium, has a voltage of 3.5v, and generally lasts ten years

That said, for a silent PC, I wouldn't have started there... But rather on the side of a poorly inserted power plug, bad cables... faulty power supply, etc...

Your power supply works when idle... But not under load...?? Either it doesn’t have enough power (it's broken) or the PC is drawing too much from it (short circuit) and causing it to trip.

Haven't you added something to your PC..? a graphics card..?? A second hard drive, etc...

In which case, disconnect everything that is possible to leave only the motherboard and see if it works... Then reconnect them one by one, turning off each time, of course... and finally find the culprit

You should at least get a brief display of the BIOS..

So no problem with the cable, the plug was poorly inserted...
The power supply works indeed alone but not when it's connected to the case. I haven't changed anything in the PC configuration.
The fact is it was working fine, but I opened it to remove dust, I blew on the fan, closed it up, and then it wouldn't turn on. Could blowing on the fan have damaged the computer???

I then unplugged everything possible to leave only the motherboard, but still nothing happens. So I think it's dead.
Just need to find another one...

Did you dust it off before asking for help on this forum or since then..? And is it just at that moment that it broke down...?

This PC is a Tower if I understand correctly.. Dusting it off can only do it good and improve its cooling, especially in the radiator fins.

Did you do this with the PC running or the PC turned off...?

Because a fan that spins with the blower produces current that may travel through the circuits... Not always very good...

On the other hand, this kind of dusting also makes dust fly everywhere; including between the contacts of the cards... And there, a misplaced dust can act as an insulator between the contacts.... It's better to use a dry, soft brush and a vacuum nozzle, just nearby...

So disassemble all your cards again, look carefully with a light, at the inside of the connector contacts... If there's any dust; remove it with a clean small brush...

During this cleaning you may have moved (jostled) something that is no longer properly connected... like the connections to the front panel for example. I find it hard to believe that the motherboard suddenly died.... However, for the power supply unit, it’s much more likely.

If you know about electricity, you can load this power supply with a car headlight bulb... The bulb should light up and stay on... Otherwise, it’s the power supply that doesn't hold the charge.

If you only keep your motherboard + (and the front panel buttons) + monitor keyboard mouse connected to the power supply (everything else is unplugged), your computer should start... It will only display the BIOS startup and give a message that it "can't find boot or OS" but that’s proof that it’s alive..!

There you go, I have been talkative... but you have plenty to do especially if you could borrow another power supply somewhere.

Yes, it's after I blew into the PC that it stopped responding. It was off when I attempted this cleaning.
I will therefore go into cleaning mode, check the power supply and I'll post the results to you.

By chance, did you take the processor out of its socket...? For that famous cleaning... There are so many possibilities for mistakes when reassembling..
