Indexed Color and Image Resolution in Illustrator

Hello,

I need to submit an .eps file to a client, but they impose a lot of constraints and I find myself a bit lost:
- First of all, they criticize me for using indexed colors... do you know how to resolve this issue?
- Furthermore, the resolution of an image I've used in the document exceeds 300 ppi, is it possible to adjust this in Illustrator?

Thank you in advance for your responses!!

In Illustrator, I don't recall that indexed colors were possible unlike in Photoshop where it is indeed possible.

So, I suppose these elements must come from elsewhere.

The EPS format is a file format that encapsulates everything you put in it without converting anything... if the images imported into Illustrator have resolutions higher than 300 dpi, it will also be the case in the EPS.

To avoid this, suggest using the PDF format with the appropriate settings.
