Hello,
I purchased a TCL TV model L24E4133F. The sound isn't great. I have LOGITECH z130 PC speakers that plug into an outlet and have a headphone jack connection. Can I connect these speakers to my TV, please? Will it work, and most importantly, is it safe for the equipment?

    Hi,

    Try the headphone output.

    Otherwise, you'll probably need a DAC and the adapter...

    Excuse me, but I'm really a novice, what does "DAC" mean and are there any risks to making this connection to the headphone jack?

      Digital to Analog Converter

      To convert the signal from the television's digital output to an analog signal for amplified speakers.

      There is no risk in using the headphone output.
