Samsung M3 external hard drive not recognized

Hello,
My external hard drive is not recognized on my Mac but it is on PC.
I can hear it struggling when it spins and it eventually stops and turns off, which does not happen on PC. I tried restarting NTFS and plugging it into different USB ports on the Mac but nothing works.
Does anyone know where the problem might be? And how to fix it?

Hello,
Your hard drive is in NTFS format, so it will not be compatible.

I tried with tuxera ntfs and it's working again. I had an equivalent that had never given me any problems until now. Anyway...
