Hello,

I would like to have 2 Wi-Fi networks in my house (1 per floor), and I have two routers available. I also have access to my Ethernet cables on both floors behind my main box router.

Is it possible to give the same SSID to both networks? Knowing that the network downstairs struggles a bit due to being above the ceiling. If I have to use two different names, do mobile devices automatically switch to the stronger network?

Thank you very much in advance for your expertise on this topic!!!

Phil

    Hello,
you can use the same SSID with the same key.
However, choose two channels that are quite far apart, for example, 1 and 6 or 6 and 11.
