Hello,

I have a problem with objects in Excel 2010.

I insert a Word object into an Excel page.

Insert => Object => New Object => Microsoft Word Document

No problem, I can use this object, I can type text and do what Word can do.

Now, if I close Excel, save the changes, and then reopen my Excel document to continue my work, when I click on the Word object to continue typing my text, I get this message:

Cannot start the source application for this object

It's frustrating, I've spent hours working on my Excel page and now I can't edit my document later on...

All my work relies on the ability to integrate a Word text box into my Excel documents. This works perfectly as long as I don't save my work...

Thanks to anyone who will look into my problem...

I uninstalled Office, ran CCleaner, reinstalled Office, and the problem is fixed.
