Help, I really have an alarming problem. I have a Samsung TV that has Anynet+, which is handy for mapping compatible devices to each other.
My PS3 has been working fine on it for years and is connected to my 5.1 home cinema (also Anynet+ compatible).
Everything was fine as usual until tonight when I wanted to turn on my console, and surprise, no sound.
After looking into it a bit, I found out that neither the home cinema nor the TV recognizes the console via Anynet.
The TV detects it, in fact, but under the name PLAYER (and not PlayStation 3 as usual), and when I try to connect, it’s impossible. Since Anynet+ works through the HDMI cable, I changed it, but nothing worked. I even tried to reset the display settings to default and then go back to HDMI, still nothing. And finally, I checked that the device mapping function is enabled on all devices.

I tested it even simpler and it works: You disconnect your Samsung until the red standby light goes out, you also disconnect the PS3, you reconnect everything, and in the anynet menu, your PS3 is back.
However, I can no longer navigate the PS3 menu with the TV's "smart touch" remote; I can't remember if I managed to pair it in the remote's setup menu, and what about you? I can't do it anymore; I am connected to the PS3 via anynet, but it doesn't give me any additional functions.
