How to connect my TV to my old speakers

Hello,
I would like to play the sound I'm listening to on my TV through my speakers.
My speakers are about 20 years old, and on the back of each of them, there are only two holes, one red marked with a + sign and the other black with a - sign.
What type of cable can these speakers be connected to my TV, a full-featured and recent SONY Bravia?

Thank you in advance for your help,
Nicolas

Hello,

It’s simple:
Your TV has an analog audio output (red/white), and the amplifier has an analog auxiliary input, so you need a stereo RCA cable like this one:

And to connect the speakers to the amplifier, you will need two speaker wires, like this:
http://www.cable-discount.com/bobine-cable-audio-haut-parleur-2x1-5mm-5-0m.htm

You cut the cable in half using scissors, giving you 2x2.50m, and strip the red/black ends by 5mm to twist the copper strands with your fingers, then connect each cable from the amplifier to the speaker using the color codes: red to red and black to black.
