Hello,
I have entire pages of adhesive labels and I would like to know who could finally tell me how to enter the data into labels in Word 2010.
My page is 21X29.7... There is a margin at the top and bottom of 9 millimeters. There are three horizontal labels and eight vertical labels, giving us a sheet of 24 labels. I've looked up labels and mail merge in Word 2010... I click on options, then I need to choose landscape or portrait, then I went into details, and that’s where it gets complicated.... There is a top margin, but no bottom margin, there is a side margin but I don’t have one, then there’s the vertical pitch and the horizontal pitch, but what is that???? And then I enter the height of my labels 3.5 cm and the width 7 cm... When I want to click on height it doesn't work, neither does width... I keep entering the number of horizontal and vertical labels, and then, a graphic of a model label appears. Well, each time I get a message that the margins, dimensions, and the number of labels per line and column exceed the size of the label sheet.... grrrrrrrrr... If someone could explain to me how to do this with these data... that would be great...

Hello
I tried (first attempt) to create a label page according to your criteria;
in the mail merge/tab/labels options, I chose Ace Label 160 series
In the details, I modified the page size to A4 (210X297 mm). Changing the page size alters the options under Other/custom. Now Raymond is right, you can choose based on what's on the packaging of your sheets.
top margin 0.9 (be careful to use the comma from the keyboard, otherwise you will get an error message)
side margin 0
vertical spacing 3.5 (this is the height of your label)
horizontal spacing 7 (this is the width of your label)
height and width the same as above
Horizontal count 3
Vertical count 8
Here’s what it turned out like https://www.cjoint.com/c/CIzh0atH49i
hoping this suits you
Best regards

The height and vertical step are grayed out for me, that's why I can't create my labels... I can't fill in those fields... so that's why I've been struggling so much... but as I said, I have your labels as a model. I'm delighted, thank you again... mirabelle42
