Hello,

Let's analyze the situation together. You changed the MAGENTA (red) cartridge T0713 with a compatible one (most likely) or an EPSON T0713.

The printer, which was working perfectly before, does not recognize the installed cartridge....

Is that correct?

If that's the case, and you've used a compatible one, it's not at fault - for the time being. BUT you need to know that compatibles are more sensitive to the presence of ink deposits and to false contacts on the CHIP READ PINS. Due to their different design, compare and you'll understand.

The read pins are on the print head. Remove the cartridges and take a good look, my friend. You'll see they are dirty.

Clean them with a dry cotton swab. Make sure to remove all ink deposits, double-check that the pins are in good condition and all present (some cartridges destroy the read pins!!!!!)

Try that first, and report back, soldier!!!
Especially if I'm wrong, don't hesitate to tell me gently. We will find other leads towards the solution...

I count on you, my friend, to come back with a report on the situation. So that everyone can benefit from your experience. Thank you for them.

Best regards to all, contributors, sensors, readers, and printer users of all kinds and brands.

Hello, thank you very much for your reply. Earlier, I checked the inks and I think I made a mistake; I bought E-713/893, but I should have bought T0893/T0713. The problem is that it worked well except now it doesn't work. Anyway, I'm going to change the inks. Thanks again.
