Hello,

I have a Packard Bell "all-in-one" OneTwo-M3351 running Windows 7 for which I have never been able to back up the system despite having purchased blank DVDs for that purpose. My PC is from June 2011, and during my attempt to restore it to factory settings last July, I lost all my data. I was able to restart Windows 7 afterward, but there is no longer any Packard Bell either in the device driver updates or on their site. ACER, which is said to have acquired Packard Bell, is sorry because "my product is not an ACER."

The experiences of internet users are enough to express the inconveniences this causes when one is not a computer whiz. Hence the question: selling a product without allowing the buyer to fully appropriate it and turning a deaf ear when approached is street business or real commerce?

Of course, I would like to retrieve the drivers for my PC, which has the following specifications:
PB ONETWO M A5007 FR
Product ID: 00359-OEM-...
Serial Number: PWU5PE2238...
Processor: AMD Athlon (tm) IIx2 220 at 2.80 GHz-
System type: 64 bit
Wlan module REALTEK RTL 8191SU
P2Windows 7 Home Premium OA ACER Group CO.7P2001.001

Thank you in advance.

Hello Kaneagle,

Thank you for responding to my question, which must have been quite incomplete. However, you can't reveal all your ignorance of computing when you're expecting a resolution to your problems. Yes, I am terrible with computers to the point where I need a "step-by-step manual" to follow.
Specifically, that means that your answer was something I already found on the Packard Bell site. The problem got worse because I had already installed software that created "incompatibilities from multiple uses." For example, the graphics card in my PC is an AMD, and I installed an NVIDIA card on it. It’s not easy to speak a language when you haven't learned the alphabet. Moreover, this type of situation makes us doubt everything, and I further analyzed my PC and thanks to Spybot Search & Destroy, I uninstalled malwares like Montera.Toolbar; escort.dll; escort.escort IE Pane and other Toolbar.MySearchDial; IronInstall.Toolbar.Amazon; DealPly; Delta.Toolbar; Babylon.toolbar; W3i.IQ5.fraud. Here are those I noted down between 09/18/2013 and the end of September. On 10/04, I had: "Windows Update error 0x80070057"; issues with recent updates installation; check for missing or corrupt files; etc.
In the end, I formatted the disk running Windows 8, which is much better even though I haven't managed to get all the functionalities of my PC including the touchscreen.

This response is late because of all this, and it aims to say thank you out of politeness and out of the conviction that my ignorance of computing has greatly contributed to the failure of the outcome.

Best regards.
