Hello, so for a week now (the day we redecorated the room with the box) our powerline adapter (CPL) stopped working. We tried the technique with the filtered power strip but nothing. Strangely, the first CPL is correctly plugged in and there is bandwidth, but the connection seems to get stuck at the second one. I don’t know what to do and I’d need some help! Thank you for your suggestions.

Hello...
If you redid the room, and if you touched the sockets, check whether you did not swap the live and neutral wires....
Regards,
see you

To keep it simple, in alternating current you have one wire that brings the live (phase) and another that brings the neutral.. even though it's AC, the position of each wire in the outlet can prevent some equipment from working, especially powerline adapters (CPL)....
So try swapping the two main wires of your outlet (the earth stays on the "earth" connector, but swap the other two... or, if it's an older wall outlet model, put your CPL in upside down....

I only have one cable that connects the modem to the first powerline adapter and another cable that goes from the second powerline adapter to the second computer.
I'm talking to you about the ELECTRIC wires that power your ELECTRIC outlet...! ;)

I don’t understand which electrical wires you’re talking about? The power lines?
If so how to reverse them?

Oopsssssssssssssss!
In your ELECTRIC WALL outlet, you have 2 or 3 wires carrying the live, the neutral, and the other for earth......try swapping the two that are horizontal (live and neutral)..the other one goes to the male connector of the wall outlet, don’t touch it....

I didn’t touch the electrical outlet, so I don’t see what it will be used for now that the room has been redone, and before, the CPL worked.
Well... usually we take the outlets apart, either to paint underneath or to run the wallpaper through...
If you didn’t touch them, then I don’t know...sorry!
Good luck!

I repaired the powerline connection; it had to synchronize, but the problem is that the other computer is on Wi-Fi via the powerlines. If someone has any idea?
Thanks anyway, poupougne.
