Hi gringo95, open Windows Explorer and select the hard drive you want to search. In the search box at the top right, enter this: type:video. It's the same for music files and images; just replace video with music or image. Happy searching!

In my opinion, "gringo95" should position the "root" folder which is supposed to contain videos and initiate a search using video file extensions (".avi", ".divx", ".mov", ...).

I just tested it on my PC, and it works very well.

And in order not to have to search each time, move his videos to the "My Videos" folder.
It's just a free piece of advice; beyond that, he can do as he pleases.

Hi,
I find it easier with Win7; the file indexing makes searching faster.
In any case, the solution from "antipolis a" is excellent. If you have several video folders (perhaps spread across different partitions), you could simply right-click on each folder and choose the 'Include in Libraries' option, then select the "Videos" Library. From then on, by clicking on Libraries -> Videos in Explorer, you'll see all the videos from your drives.
This will make it easier for you to find your way around.

Salut mbh, I really don't like this solution at all. Why do I have to click on each folder? With XP, using the search option and checking videos to search the entire PC, I can find all the videos on my PC much more easily. I'm not looking for a specific video, I just want to display all the videos that are on my PC. Thank you.
