Hello everyone.

Currently, I have a Sharp LED TV Reference LC60LE635E, a LiveBox, and a PC.
I am trying by all means to share my movies via the local network, from my PC to my Sharp TV.
The issue is that I can watch the movies but there's no sound. Hence the error check the output device settings.

For your information: I have no sound only on Blu Ray movies. All other formats work.

Tests performed:
*Local network from PC to TV no sound. No error check the output device settings on the TV screen.
*Connecting an external hard drive to the LiveBox no sound and the error check the output device settings appears on the TV.
*Connecting an external hard drive to my Blu Ray player no sound and the error check the output device settings appears on the TV.
*I tested the 4 HDMI ports behind the TV with a Monster ultra high speed gold-plated HDMI cable. Same issue.
Blu Ray player with the Blu Ray CD works.

    Local network
    Live box menu => Multimedia => Video => Select source => User => I can find the movies on my hard drive (PC). I start the BluRay movies, same problem (image ok but no sound).

    have you tried testing the system with another TV? connected via HDMI?

    Hi, I don't have another TV. However, I tested it with an external hard drive containing the BluRay movies, thinking it was the movies' fault. As a result, my friend has a Samsung TV with a home theater system, and everything works perfectly the first time he plugged it into his BluRay player's USB port.
    Just a reminder, lower quality movies, like 720 HD or others, work on the local network (PC=>TV) or via an external hard drive. With the BluRay, the picture is fine but there's no sound.
    I'm copying and pasting the properties of one of the movies in question. Forward.Unto.Dawn.2012.MULTi.1080p.BluRay.x264.DTS-Smart.mkv
    (I don't know if the movie version affects one TV compared to another or if it has nothing to do with it).

    Here are the issues found.

    To all owners of a Sharp TV LCD Reference: LC60 LE635E LED

    All films with the audio coding system Digital Theater System abbreviated (DTS) are not compatible with this TV. It works with the system (AC3) Definition of the word AC3, Audio file extension to the Dolby standard. Also refers to a standard that encodes 5.1 at 384 kbps instead of the usual 4 Mbps.
    I just need to convert the sound of the films (DTS=>AC3).
    Ps: The new Sharp TV models do not have this issue.
