So here is my issue: I have a Numark Mixtrack Pro 2 controller with Serato DJ Intro, and my problem is this: When I connect, Serato doesn't always recognize the controller and therefore doesn't give me control. I have to restart first. It's been impossible for the last 3 days, even with restarts. What should I do?
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 10.0

I do not use the Numark Mixtrack Pro 2 controller, nor the Serato DJ Intro software; moreover, all my machines are running Windows XP.
It seems to me that this is a problem of the controller not taking over as soon as it is connected. If the PC's sound card running Windows 7 is set as the "default device," the controller cannot take control.
It is therefore necessary to set the PC's sound card without the "default device" attribute.
I recommend seeking help in the forum concerning operating systems; a user of Windows 7 will be more precise than I am about the changes to be made to your PC's configuration.
