Virtualbox/Graphics Card Recognition

Hello,

Having not found an answer to my question, I’m opening a new topic.
I installed VirtualBox, then Windows 7 NT. Everything is working perfectly. Now, I want to install a game (Company of Heroes) but I'm getting a message saying that my graphics settings are too low. As you can see in my signature, I have a graphic card that should be able to handle it, as it is recommended to have 512 MB to run this game...
But the problem is not really the game but VirtualBox. Because when I go into the graphics preferences, the maximum I can choose is 256 MB, and I can enable 2D and 3D acceleration.
I would like to know if it’s normal that I can’t take full advantage of my AMD graphics card, which is supposed to provide up to 1000 MB and the Intel 512 MB. Why am I only offered 256 MB?
To clarify, the game installation does not start because the "Shader model" is not supported. But all of this seems to be linked to the fact that my graphics card cannot be used optimally.
Thank you in advance for your help and advice.

Configuration: MacBook Pro 15.4'' LED/Core i7 4-Core at 2.4 GHz/8 GB/750 GB
Serial ATA/SuperDrive/Intel HD Graphics 3000 & AMD Radeon HD

This topic is old, but I still want to contribute my bit to the solution of this problem! You actually need to install the guest additions and enable the 3D option, which is experimental but works more or less correctly!
