WiFi connection with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Solved

Hello,

I just bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I already have a laptop at home, connected to Wi-Fi, subscribed to Internet livebox Orange.
I think I've done everything necessary: entered email address, passwords, created a Gmail account for Android, etc... I thought I had succeeded; at one point, I even briefly accessed my Orange email on the tablet.
By the end of the afternoon I dedicated to the setup, I'm just going in circles because it says I'm connected to Orange in the "Wi-Fi networks" list and I can't get anything except "Connecting, may take a few minutes," then "Unable to connect." Back to the network list: "Orange connected."
What more can I do?

Hello, you actually need to go to your settings, click on your connected Orange network, there it will ask you for a password that you can find under your modem, you should have a label, look for the inscription WPA3 and next to it is a code which is the password, you enter your password, then click on connect, it should work normally.

There is no "wpa3" (?) written on the Livebox but your message prompted me to take a closer look at my Livebox and I saw 4652 or a number like that, I found it in my list of networks, it made me realize that I had confused the available networks, I thought "Orange" was mine !!! In fact not at all, it was just a neighbor's network and I was stubbornly trying to connect to it... I hadn't noticed the different Liveboxes available.

Then I entered the 26 security digits written on the Livebox in "password". And there you go, I'm connected.

I must seem like a complete novice to you, actually I use the Internet a lot, but as soon as I need to install something... Ugh! And after spending the afternoon entering all the usernames, email passwords in every way possible, I didn't know what to do anymore.

You really helped me out of this maze!

I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.7 two days ago, but when I connect to my Free wifi and try to use an application that needs the network (YouTube, Play Store, etc.), it says: "A network error occurred, please restart." Please help me!!!! Thank you in advance.

Salut, j'ai acheté il y a deux jours la Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.7, mais quand je suis connecté au Wi-Fi de ma Free, que je veux aller sur une application qui nécessite le réseau (YouTube, Play Store...), ça me met : "Une erreur vient du réseau, réessaie s'il te plaît". I have the same problem with my Galaxy Tab4 10 tablet that won't connect to my Freebox. Even when I connect to Freewifi, it indicates that I'm connected with a very good signal, but I can't enter any data or access the internet because the server cannot be found. So if anyone has an answer, I would be grateful, thank you.

I couldn't connect to the Sagem Orange Livebox 2.
Whereas all my other devices (PC and phone) were able to connect.
I went to the advanced Wi-Fi settings (browser address 192.168.1.1)

I disabled MAC filtering and easy Wi-Fi, and I was able to connect directly to the box without going through the Orange network.
What I don't understand is that I reactivated them and it still works?

Hello,
I have the same problem except that I am connected to my Livebox via Wi-Fi from my Galaxy Tab 4 tablet. I'm unable to connect to the Internet nonetheless. When I open a Google page, it lags and tells me "you are offline," which is not the case...
I can't connect using WEP on the Orange interface because my Livebox doesn't seem to recognize it, but I am on WPA/WPA2.
The Wi-Fi connection icon at the top right of the tablet has two small arrows below it: the one going up is blinking, while the one going down is greyed out.
Do you have any solutions? I don't understand anything anymore...
