Hello, I just acquired the Cocoon speaker from Denon, which comes with a dock and is compatible with Wi-Fi, AirPlay, and everything.
However, I'm unable to connect it to my home Wi-Fi network; for your information, I have a BBOX Sensation.
The connection is supposed to be made through an iPhone app that I downloaded via Netlink, but it's not working...
The iPhone 4 placed on the dock recognizes the BBOX, but once the codes are entered, it doesn't connect to the network...
If anyone has a solution, I would greatly appreciate it...
The goal is to stream music to the speakers over Wi-Fi...

Hello,
I also have the DENON Cocoon since December 2012 and I am experiencing issues as well: the Wi-Fi cuts out when I listen to music from my iPhone; it seems to work better when coming from the computer.
As for the software update, I can’t even manage to do it.
If you have any tips..... -

Hi,
This is certainly about the wifi standard. -
Hello.
Having also purchased the Cocoon, I encountered some difficulties connecting it to my WIFI network (despite being a network-specialized IT professional).
It turns out that the Cocoon does not support all encryption modes, nor does it work with hidden SSID (masked network = impossible to make it work).
In my case, it's a broadcast network with WPA-PSK encrypted in AES.
For everyone, the DENON Cocoon product has remarkable sound quality, but it has a catastrophic software component, both in the device and in the iPhone app.
Since the firmware update, I can no longer control it from the iPhone, which is very inconvenient for changing the Web radios.
As for customer service, it is certainly one of the worst I have ever encountered. First request by email, off-topic response after 1.5 months. Second request with no response after 3 months (it is indicated on the website that they reply within 48 hours, I believe! lol) -
