What speakers for the Denon PMA-500AE?

Hi, I would like to set up a small Hi-Fi system. I'm considering the Denon PMA-500AE amplifier. I already have a CD player.
I would like to know if home theater surround speakers JBL SCS 260.5 provide the same good music quality as they do for movies, or if I should preferably go for Hi-Fi speakers without a subwoofer or surround like those for PCs. Thank you for your experiences.
