Hi,
I would like to do fitness but my friends discourage me, they say I would be too young. I'm 14 years old and I'm 1.70m tall. What is the minimum age for doing fitness? Would there be any risks if I did it?
Thank you in advance!! :D

Hello,
it's often said that fitness centers allow entry from the age of 16. The best thing to do is to contact ones near you and ask them. You'll get a clear answer.
Make sure to share the information with us; it could help others in your situation!
If that's not possible, you can always work out with consoles like Wii or Xbox
Theo - Help me, I help you if it's possible ;o)

Wow, this question is from 2013, but anyway...
Personally, I am 12 years old and 1.58 meters tall, and I do fitness regularly, using videos on YouTube by a girl named GeorgiaSecrets. I even met her in person at a meet-up, and she told me that there was no problem with me doing it, just that I need to take breaks and not add weights.

Hello
Are there any risks if I do it
For this question, the best person to talk to is your doctor. Moreover, it often happens that when registering, you have to provide a certificate.

You're welcome;-)
And I take this opportunity to add a point. If you can't go to a gym, you can also practice fitness in local sports associations. It's often cheaper anyway;-)
In the association I'm a member of, I believe teenagers are accepted from the age of 12 (but with a fitness certificate + a signed form from the parents).
However, it's the holidays and such associations often operate from September to June.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly! It's nice to hear that ^^ So there's still a chance I can do fitness then?
