Television keeps going into standby mode.

Hello,

I have a PANASONIC TV model TX 28PS 11 F purchased in October 2004, and I've never had any problems. However, for the past month, the TV has been turning off intermittently and going into standby mode (the indicator light blinks), and I have to turn it off and on again for it to be operational again. I want to emphasize that the picture quality is impeccable (no issues with the image quality whatsoever). The problem has gotten worse (today I experienced it at least 7 times), even though sometimes it shows no issues for several days.

Can someone tell me what this could be due to? Is it just a simple issue with the switch (to be replaced), or is it something else?

A little thing to try! It may happen that the remote control acts up, so if the batteries are removed, is the problem persistent? If not, check the settings on the TV and then reset it (possible depending on the TV models). Otherwise, contact your manufacturer quickly before you have a surprise.
