Good evening,

I acquired a (used) HP a6543 PC (with Vista), as well as an LG Flatron W2261VP monitor, connected via DVI.
The problem is that when I turn on the PC, the loading screen appears (with the little bars scrolling and Microsoft Corporation) and just after that, the screen goes into sleep mode with "Power saving mode" displayed. From there, I can't do anything, and by turning it off using the button, I can access safe mode on the next startup.

I would like to know if there is any action to take in this mode to be able to start it up correctly in normal mode.

Thank you in advance :)

Hello,

Check at this level the display resolution and the selected refresh rate via your graphical interface through the control panel (in safe mode), which should not exceed 1920*1080 at 60 Hz.

Finally, test another DVI or VGA cable.
