screen takes a long time to turn on Solved

Question

Hello everyone,I am reaching out to you to solve a computer hardware issue. For a few days now, when I turn on my PC, my screen takes about a quarter of an hour to light up. I would like to know if it's my screen that is starting to fail or if there is another problem. I have changed the cable, but nothing changes. I also want to mention that a few months ago, I replaced the graphics card to be able to work with two screens from the Nvidia brand, as recommended by a trusted vendor.I would like to thank anyone who provides good ideas to resolve this issue.Best regards, Yvan 1   Configuration: 1st laptop HP series 5000 under XP, 2nd PC Compaq under XP, 3rd HP desktop under Windows 7.

I had the same issue (HP screen).
I changed the screen, no more problem.
I pulled the screen out 3 months later to connect it to a laptop, and it wouldn’t turn on at all, even after 30 minutes of waiting...
I think I had the same blinking green light (it's been a while, I'm not sure anymore).

so I'm not a computer pro, I manage just fine at most, but if I've understood your principle correctly, I need to unplug the cable from the PC and only plug the screen into the power
quick question, if I plug it directly into my laptop, will I have the same problem?

so as promised I'm picking up the post you replied to yesterday
so this morning I unplugged the screen from my tower
the green light flashes for ten to fifteen minutes then turns orange
I see nothing written on the completely black screen

Test the same PC on another monitor to see if the issue is the same.
or
Test the monitor that seems to have a problem on another PC (laptop, another tower, etc.)

This would already help determine whether the issue comes from the monitor or the PC.
