Hello,
I have a problem with my computer, I want to install Office 2010 and during the installation, I get a message saying that the installation cannot find the file xxxx.cab
However, on another computer it installs just fine, so the file is not corrupted...
Especially since my friend brought me his Office 2013 version and during the installation I have the same issue but with a different .cab file.
Any idea what might be wrong with my PC?
The .cab files in question are indeed present in the right location and I can even see their content when I click on them.
Thank you for helping me with my problem
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

I had this problem on 2 PCs running XP, as well as a new PC running Windows 10.
I tried everything until I found a solution:
- run the installation as Admin
- Request the installation of only Word, or of ONLY one other product except Excel
- Once the installation of this product is complete, you can then proceed with the installation of the other products !!!

Just to inform you what I have already tried...
1) Deleting all temporary files (C:\Windows\Temp, prefetch, user temp files, and IE temp files)
2) Removing read-only on the installation directory
3) Running the installation as an admin
4) Disabling UAC
5) Disabling the Antivirus (AVG)
6) Doing all Windows Updates
7) Microsoft .NET 4.5 is installed on the PC
There you go, after all that I still have the same issue.
