Hello,
I have an internet/TV/Numéricable subscription since October 2012, and I got a television yesterday, so I can now enjoy the TV offer. However, I have two cables provided by Numéricable, and I don't know which one to connect to the antenna socket in my living room.
The first cable has a screw-on connector for the antenna socket. The connector is labeled "cablecon 5.1". The other end is stripped.
The second cable also has a screw-on connector, which is labeled "PCT DRS 6l NT".
The other end is stripped as well.
I don't know which one will work; none of them seem to at the moment... I tried connecting each cable to a separate connector that I bought and plugged behind the TV...
I would like to know the difference between the two cables. My searches only lead me to American sites, and I can't find out what each cable corresponds to.
Thank you in advance if anyone can provide information!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 27.0.1453.94

Hello!
What is the name of your Numéricâble offer? Do you have a TV decoder in your offer? How is your Numéricâble socket? -
Hello!
Actually, I solved the problem. I fixed the exposed ends, put on an antenna socket, and tried the cables one by one... And it worked, so it's the Cablecon 5.1 cable that allows me to get the regular channels and TNT. The other cable gives access to cable channels (for which I haven’t subscribed to any plan). I'm going to be able to watch Roland Garros :D
Thank you for taking care of my case!
Have a good day!
