Hello,
I was given a tablet from the brand IDHD (sold by Universat) that no longer works.
Screen: 10 inch touchscreen
Networks: WIFI: IEEE 802.11b/g/n. 11Mbps to 54Mbps.
CPU: Chipset: Rockchip 3066,
Processor: Cortex A9, Frequency: 1.6GHz Dual Core
3G: External via USB antenna (not provided).
RAM: DDR3 1Gb
Applications: APK format
Memory: 16Gb
PC Connection: Mini USB 2.0x1
System: Android 4.1
Battery: Lithium battery: 6000mAh
When turning on the tablet, the brand logo appears and remains indefinitely.
I have tried using the reset button, but it only restarts the device and... remains stuck...
I also attempted a hard reset (hold up + power). The Android image with the warning displays correctly, but no recovery menu appears. I can't do anything. The tablet stays like this for about twenty minutes, then restarts... and stays stuck...
IDHD seems to be a proprietary brand of Universat. However, I can't find anything on the website. The customer service refuses to take it under warranty.
Does anyone have any idea what I could do to unlock it? Flash it? How and with which ROM? Could it be a hardware issue?
