Hello,
I'm currently wondering if there is any benefit to having a motherboard like a server motherboard that supports multiple processors.
In terms of future-proofing!
In other words, will the ability to install two high-end processors in a few years (when the price of our dear i7s has decreased) be advantageous?
In short, does the ability to use multiple processors make a setup less quickly obsolete?
Various uses, multimedia, gaming, work.
Thank you in advance.

Hello
As you said, it's for server-type use and therefore sometimes significant computing power is considered to process a certain amount of data. For an individual, this type of system is not very useful, even less so if it's for a gaming PC.
For a private individual, the computing power of an i7 is more than sufficient for demanding tasks, and I doubt that it is possible to use it at 100% of its resources during personal use.
