Hello,
I have a problem with my printer (HP Deskjet 3070 B611 series and I'm on Windows 7 for your information)
Up until now it has always worked correctly. Today, without understanding why, it won't print my documents. I'm working on Excel and I have a table to print. I first thought it might be due to a wrong setting in Excel since the last documents I printed without issues were Word docs. So, I tried to print a Word doc to check, but the same thing happened; it wouldn’t print and put my documents in the queue.
* I deleted all the documents in the queue and tried again. But nothing.
* I tried printing a test page, same; it doesn’t print and goes to the queue.
* I tried unplugging/replugging the printer cable + power supply but nothing changed.
* I tried restarting the PC but that didn’t change anything either.
* I am (apparently) up to date with my updates.
* I ran the diagnostic tool that automatically resolves common problems (Microsoft Fix it) and requested a problem detection. Result: No problems detected, so no fixes will be applied.
In summary, everything seems fine except that it doesn’t work :'(
Could someone help me as I don’t know what to do anymore?

Hello holly456,
Maybe try reinstalling the software/driver, have you tried?
If you decide to do it, there are a few conditions to meet in order to ensure the success of a new installation.
If it's a driver issue, are you ready to follow the procedure?
If it concerns a "mechanical" problem, reinstalling the driver will probably be useless!
See you later!

Hello and thank you for this quick reply,
I must admit that I don’t know much about it and getting involved in all this without being sure that the problem comes from there doesn’t really excite me to be honest :-) I am still convinced that it’s a minor issue, like a simple "thing" to activate or deactivate, because I remember having encountered a similar problem in the past with another printer on a different PC, a problem that resolved itself "like magic" without me understanding anything. I think I might have accidentally messed something up, made a mistake. I believe my drivers are fine, but that’s just a guess.
I realize I forgot to mention that I recently had a nasty paper jam (which I managed to remove and afterward my prints worked) could it be possible that in the meantime, a piece of "forgotten" paper got stuck somewhere and by moving causes this without the problem detection assistant noticing it and that my issue comes from there? -
If you ever decided......
Uninstall everything related to the HP Deskjet 3070 B611 from the PC, leaving no traces of HP regarding this printer.
Download, save, and then install CCleaner from this LINK, then clean the registry as indicated HERE.
CCleaner also allows you to uninstall programs, see this LINK.
Disconnect the printer from the PC and then restart it.
Download, save, and then install the full version of the drivers/software from this LINK.
Only connect the printer when the installation procedure specifies to do so.
Restart the computer and see how it goes!

Thank you very much for all this information. I already have Ccleaner, so that's one less thing to do ^^ As for the rest, I hope if I get to that point, I'll manage it because I'm not very skilled with all this. I'll first try to turn the printer in every direction to see if there might be a small piece of paper stuck somewhere, which would be quite convenient, I must say :-)
Thanks again. -
