screen on landline phone

Question

Hello,  The screen of my wireless fixed phone is no longer readable. What should I do? Change the phone?  Thank you for your response   Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 19.0

Ok, well I hope for you that it's just the batteries that aren't working anymore :D

Hi,

the screen is not working anymore, two possible causes:

- The rechargeable batteries in your phone are dead and are not charging enough to turn on the screen.
- The screen is faulty.

Try with other batteries and replace your set if the same thing happens with a set of batteries that work elsewhere!

Thank you for your quick response.  Indeed, I think it must be the batteries. I'll change them, instead of changing the phone, at least for now.  Thanks again.

Personally, if my landline phone did that, I would have taken it back to where I bought it with the receipt, the warranty, and everything to see what the store could do. And if they couldn’t do anything, then I would buy a new one.

Et si ce n'est pas ça, le problème de l'écran passe toujours au magasin où tu l'as acheté ; avec ta garantie, ils pourront toujours te le rembourser ou te le réparer.

Thank you for your response. It's no longer under warranty, but according to one reply, it should be the batteries. They need to be changed.  Thank you and have a good day.
