Hello,
I would like to book a trip through private showroom, but I have questions about the reliability of this site when it comes to travel?
Thank you for your opinions and responses.

Hello,

I want to inform anyone considering booking a trip with SHOWROOMPRIVÉ NOT TO DO IT!!!!
Indeed, my cousin and I booked a trip to Tunisia (Djerba), and the offer was very attractive until then.
However, following the attacks that occurred on July 26, 2015, we naturally requested to change our destination! (18 tourists killed)
To our surprise, SHOWROOM simply sent us a first website to choose a destination, then a second one, and finally, we found that we didn’t really have the right to change destinations anymore. A certain Audrey from customer service eventually contacted me after I had simply hounded them, to tell me, I quote, "But madam, you may not be a victim of attacks; we only have two stays to offer you, and you must pay 1800 euros."
They simply pushed me to cancel my stay given the 55% that was going to be charged, of course, otherwise it would be too easy!
In short, flee; they are completely incompetent. I will send you the email of this dear madam Audrey from customer service.
We are completely disappointed; I never thought I would one day fall victim to such a scam, and yet yes, with SHOWROOMVOYAGE!!

Hello Karimas,

I am sorry that you feel this way.
However, we have already provided you with a response on this matter.
To facilitate our exchanges, I ask you to not multiply your posts.

As we have already communicated, 3 proposals have been made to you by our travel service.
During this summer period, it is difficult to find a destination at a price as attractive as the one you benefited from.
Last-minute changes can therefore incur additional costs, which we cannot cover.
Since you did not opt for cancellation insurance, we cannot cover those either.
I inform you that under French law, tour operators are not required to refund or exchange bookings in this type of situation. Such measures would only be imposed on travel agencies in the event of a warning from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, for now, the Quai d'Orsay has merely recommended that tourists be "particularly vigilant," without urging them to cancel their trips.

If you change your mind about the proposals that have been made to you, I invite you to contact the advisor in charge of your file again.

Have a nice day, Elsa.

Hello

On the internet, there are positive reviews but strangely almost all are anonymous and there are quite a few complaints on other places on the internet...

See Google.

DESCRIBE your problem in DETAIL, thank you! @Save the earth! It's the only planet where we can find chocolate!

I confirm. We tested it and it was a complete bluff from start to finish: the dates are uncertain, we were told a stay from Sunday to Sunday, but it actually turned out to be from Sunday to Tuesday (good luck with your leave). They promised you a direct flight but you end up with two layovers. They explain that someone on site will guide you, but the guide never answered the phone.
In short, avoid it at all costs, especially since they don't even bother to respond to emails.
