GTA IV arrow key controller issue

Hello, I'm playing GTA IV on my Xbox and since a little while ago I have a problem. I can no longer use my phone; when I press the up arrow it behaves as if I were pressing right or left (it changes weapons or, in the car, it changes the radio stations). I would like to know if anyone has any idea what could be causing the problem. Thanks!

    Hi, try reinstalling the drivers for the gamepad
