Hello,
My HP computer is indicating that the D recovery drive has only 1.89 GB free out of 15 GB. Could I know why there is so little space left and what the D drive corresponds to on the computer, please? Thank you
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 9.0

The message appears spontaneously in a small box that shows up near the taskbar, or did you go check the size and what this partition contains yourself?
A Recovery partition is a partition from which you can boot to reinstall your operating system in case of failure or an unsolvable problem with viruses, drivers, etc.
It replaces the CDs that were provided by your vendor when you bought a PC, but it is still highly recommended to burn a set of CDs or DVDs just in case...
Do not touch this partition (do not delete or modify anything, not even its name) if you want it to be useful when you encounter a problem with your Windows.
Mine measures 20 GB, don’t worry, if the message didn’t appear by itself, Windows manages this partition all on its own, without you needing to intervene in any way.
