Fujitsu Siemens black screen issue

Hello,

I have a problem with my Fujitsu Siemens laptop.
I start the PC, everything is normal until the moment my homepage should appear. At that moment, the screen goes black, and only the mouse cursor is still visible.
So it's not a screen issue since the mouse cursor appears. I’ve also tried removing the battery and pressing the power button without success. The problem is the same whether I’m on AC power or battery and also in safe mode.

Thank you for your responses.

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 4.0

    Hello,
Have you tried pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete to see if the task manager appears during the black screen with your mouse!
    Does it do anything?

Theo Help me, I help you if possible ;o)
Look around a bit before asking questions for which you could find the answers faster ('_^)

Yes, when I do this manipulation I end up on the same background screen as when the computer shuts down and I find myself with several options like: log off, change user, change password... but if I press one of these options I get a return to my black screen.
From ctrl alt del I also have the option to shut down the computer.

Isn't there a task manager at the bottom? To see what's happening with Explorer?

Among the options provided, it says task manager, but if I click on it, I end up back on my black screen. All I can still do is restart or turn off the PC.

    Hello,

Have you tried using System Restore (if it is enabled)?

PS: F8 right after the BIOS screen for Windows boot options; just in case.

It didn't yield any results. The PC is also very slow; it takes several minutes to turn on or off.

If all of this doesn't work, you may need to back up your data and attempt a complete reinstall.

No problem with my data, I make regular backups, but how do I perform a complete reinstallation?

if you have a restoration CD or DVD, you launch it at startup and follow the instructions.

All Siemens Fujitsu PCs have a problem with flashing the motherboard, so the manufacturer of this box needs to be instructed.

    Hello,
Regarding the last comment, what exactly should be done?
I have the same issue, except that I encounter it when I update my PC; if I revert to a previous image before the update, then it's fine... it's very strange, I have another identical machine (HW, SW), I update it and there is no black screen...
