Hello everyone, I couldn't find the solution to my problem, which is why I'm here on this site.
I'm trying to understand why, and especially to fix the fact that all my .pdf files (whether on my computer or sent to me by email) open with Microsoft Word (2000) instead of Adobe Reader (which I have on my computer)!
If anyone has a little solution, thank you in advance!

Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Try the manipulation I suggested (with the checkbox, etc.)
If it doesn't work, do this:
* Open My Computer
* Click on Tools, Folder Options
* Select the "File Types" tab
* Look for the .PDF extension
* Click on Modify...
* Choose the Adobe Reader program
* Confirm and try to open your file

Thank you very much for this clear and concise explanation. I had the same problem but I am on Vista, and by deducing from your explanations about XP, I found out how to fix my issue. Thank you, finally after all this time I've been struggling to find the solution.
