Hello,

I received a text message on my mobile phone from a number I don't recognize... The number starts with: +3247 (there are 7 other digits after)

Which country might a number starting this way come from?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Conduct a search on the internet with the terms "phone code".

I don't understand your response... what do you mean "already tried"? Attempt = success when talking about a phone code...

It is indeed a phone code, we agree...
So of course, thanks to https://www.ecosia.org/ you can find out which phone code it is... the list of codes is available online. There aren't any hidden or exclusive ways of how it works...

I will make it easier for you.

Like us, they have 10 digits in their number.
The first 0 always disappears when you use the country code. So it results in a number with 9 digits + the code
If an 11-digit number is displayed, it means the first 2 digits correspond to the phone code.
    The first two digits: 32
What does 32 correspond to? To find out, just search online.

    Hello
If it's really 32 as the area code, it's Belgium. So a thank you from you for doing the work would be appreciated.

If this is addressed to me (zoulou33), I don't think I was aggressive, but it can be taken that way. However, I think the aggressiveness comes from ThEBiShOp, but I could be mistaken, and if that's the case, I apologize.

I agree with you about people who don't take the time to look things up and that makes me too. But there you go. Have a nice day.
