Hello,
I was flagged as a preventive measure by Bouygues Telecom without being notified. I only found out when I tried to open an account with another operator.
This flagging must date back to March 2010. I learned that the provider is in violation if they do not notify by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
Can I invoke this fact to request the removal of the flag? I just started a commercial activity and I absolutely need an unlimited line.
SFR is willing to open a line for me but is asking for a deposit of €497. My finances do not allow me to give this amount.
What should I do?
Thank you for your response.
Sincerely

Hello,
If you are flagged by Bouygues Telecom, it means there was a payment on your part that was not recorded. Either you did not pay a bill or you canceled before the contract end date.
I advise you, before taking your subscription with SFR, to contact Bouygues Telecom customer service to find out how much you owe them.
If the amount owed to Bouygues is less than the amount requested by SFR, it would be better to settle it, and you will no longer be flagged with Préventel. At that point, you can take a line with SFR without them asking you for a deposit on consumption.
I hope I have clarified this for you,
have a nice day!!
Best regards.
