How to find the IP address of a sender on Yahoo?

Hello,

I know how to find the IP of an email received in a mailbox like Outlook or others... by going to properties
I have a Yahoo email address that I haven't transferred to a mailbox, so I open these emails directly on Yahoo! I would like to know where some emails come from, including the IP and approximate location, but I can't retrieve the sender's IP from my Yahoo account! I've looked for it and I don't see how to get it! There must be a way! Thank you for your help!

    it helps me a lot !!

    however, the emails sometimes come from curious places! an acquaintance tells me they live in Brittany and it locates her in Seattle in the USA .. is it because of the hotmail address they send me from hotmail?

    Try:
    - go to the email in question
    - action > show the full header

    Hotmail belongs to Microsoft.
    Microsoft is based next to Seattle.

    But besides that, it's just a coincidence.

    If the email is sent from a webmail, you cannot have the IP address of the person who sent the email, only the IP address of the server!

    Out of curiosity, if I need help with Hotmail, what do I do because I have the same issue with Hotmail and I can't find it!! Thanks in advance! ;)

    Hello everyone,

    As a victim of a scam, I would like to know how to find the IP address of the person from a Yahoo email to see if they are indeed in London or elsewhere.
    I'm just curious to know where the email was sent from.
    Thank you for your help...

    PS I have read above, but I can't figure it out... I'm not good with computers.

      Even if you find the IP address, geolocation by IP address is not very reliable; it wouldn't be of much help to you.
