Oui, AVast est un bon anti-virus gratuit.
N'oublie pas d'installer un pare-feu autre que celui de Windows et d'utiliser un autre navigateur web car Internet Explorer ce n'est pas le top. Tu as Opéra ou FireFox en remplacement.

Tu peux installer des anti-spywares ça améliorera ta protection contre les malwares, en voici quelques uns :
