Hello,

I bought a Thomson DVD3654 DVD player.
It plays CDs but when I try to play DVDs it shows "temporary restriction".
Thank you for informing me so I can use my player.

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

    Surely you have the parental control setup
    in that case you press "setup" and go to the sub menu "level"
    and there you check if it is active or not
    (unless I'm mistaken there are 7 levels of protection)
    the default code is 8888

    I did all this, but the player reads the audio CDs and homemade DVDs (photos, etc.) but not the commercially bought DVDs.
    The message is bad disc or mv disc.

    Yes, I tried cleaning it with a cleaning CD, but nothing works...

    It's depressing.

    Good evening to both of you, return of service, mandatory European warranty of 2 years.

    Stop breaking your backs and just ask customer service to fix this.
