I had the same problem and I "realized" that after a box update, it was automatically switching to energy-saving mode, which meant there was a wait of more than 2 minutes upon restarting.

And indeed, this prolonged standby of the box prevents the activation of the remote control in the Orange TV app.

To disable the energy-saving mode, you need to go to the settings on "your TV screen" using the menu, then decoder, and disable energy-saving mode.

And it works!...

You can now turn your box on or off using the remote control in the app on your smartphone.
