Stuck on startup page with netkid 2

Hello,

we have the same problem with the netkid 2 (stuck on the startup page) how to restore the system

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 16.0

    Thank you very much to videojet for their very quick intervention
    Our netkids 2, which was stuck on the startup page with nothing we could do
    on 12/26/2012 at 2 PM we called videojet at this number 0142895654
    They promised to send us an SD card with the system restore + instructions within 48 hours
    and here it is, as promised, 48 hours later the Netkids 2 is working perfectly again

    Hello, I'm having the same problem after 20 days of use.
    Here's a workaround I found: long press the power button to turn off the device, then simultaneously press "home + power button" and there you go, the home page reappears.

    I too have the same Videojet Netkids 2 PC stuck on the startup page, what a disappointment for my son who received it as his only Christmas gift.
    As for the restoration link above, the PC runs on Android 4, not Windows.

    Hello,

    I have exactly the same problem on my end after setting up the internet connection.
    I tried to get into console mode by experimenting with different key combinations, but to no avail (only home+Alt+Delete allows for a system reset, which ultimately leads to the same result).

    Strictly speaking, it would be necessary to boot from a USB stick containing an Android 4.0 image for the Allwinner SoC (ARM), but since I'm not very familiar with Android, I'm not sure I want to dive into that procedure.

    I think I will take advantage of the warranty and return it to the store.

    I remain convinced that it is an excellent product.

    Hello,
    I did a reset of the netkids 2 in the configuration menu, and since then I no longer have the kids' OS overlay... what should I do? I'm directly under Android and no games are installed anymore!

    same for me, SD card received today and restoration completed without any issues.

    The after-sales service from VideoJet is great.

      Customer service is useless; they tell you they can't do anything unless it's under warranty, and with warranty, you have to pay money for it, which is ridiculous knowing it's just software on an SD card! Is there anyone who could post the software they received from Videojet, please?
