Unable to uninstall Office 2010

Hello fellow internet users,

I have a problem with a friend who has a buggy version of Office. One day she told me that when she launched Word, an update was initiated for the Office pack, and the update keeps resetting in a loop, unable to complete it, and therefore no way to launch any of the software in the pack (Outlook, Excel...) it was a pro version 2010. The worst part is that everything was working perfectly the day before the update.

This friend has a pro version (the one for €249) that she wants to reinstall, but there’s no way to uninstall the older version since the uninstallation of the Office pack is done via the same utility (control panel) which crashes. I tried to delete the files manually, uninstall in safe mode, use uninstall.exe, but nothing works. Protected or missing files and safe mode is ineffective on the Office uninstallation utility.

Does anyone have a solution to cleanly (or not so cleanly) remove the pack so that I can install the new one for her? I'm leaving soon for the holidays and I absolutely need to resolve her issue in the coming days.

She has a W7 64b ultimate, an Office with the entire suite of software (2010), I don't know exactly which version.
