Unable to uninstall Office 2010 Solved/Closed

Hello,

In the add/remove programs section, when I choose to uninstall Office 2010, I get this message:

"The uninstallation of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 has failed."

"Error 1324. The path to the Program Files(64) folder contains an invalid character."

I have been using the Beta version for about 2 months, and I want to remove it.

Could you please tell me what to do? Thank you!

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.6.6

Hi,

A bit of a blunt method, it's up to you:

1/ You delete your Office folder related to Office 2010 in program files.
2/ You delete it from your start menu
3/ You go to the control panel and when you click on uninstall, a message tells you it is "deleted", you click yes*
4/ And that should be it.

It's a bit blunt, do it as you wish.

Yes, it's a solution, but I'm afraid that once everything is deleted haphazardly, I won't be able to remove the entry "Microsoft Office 2010" that is in "Add/Remove Programs," which would probably prevent me from reinstalling Office.

If there are no other solutions in a few minutes, I'll go ahead and do it, and I'll let you know if it works or not ;)
