Hello,
I suddenly encountered a problem, and I really don’t know how to fix it.
Everything was working perfectly until my computer refused to start
and the following message appeared: AMD Data Change ... Update New Data To DMI!
So I don’t know what could have caused this problem... I have no idea.
But I know that my hard drive and my DVD drive are not even detected...
What I have tried are the following things:
- I replaced the BIOS battery with a new one. The problem persists.
- I tested the hard drive with an external hard drive adapter on another PC. It works.
- I attempted to format (via USB since the drive is not detected as I mentioned), but it does not detect any hard drive.
- I removed one RAM stick and vice versa.
This problem is more serious than I thought, and I really don’t know what to do.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you, and any help or response would be welcome.
Thank you in advance,
Cristopher
Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 17.0
