Good evening,
(I had opened this topic in computer hardware, but I think it will be better here)
I have a Windows XP PC, HP Pavilion M7447, Media Center Edition version 2002, SP3
Intel (R) Pentium (R) D CPU 3.00 GHz
processor / card: RADEON x1600 series
01/01/2004 5.1.2600.0.5512
I opened the event viewer, and I found this error:
at each startup (since I changed some services/processes at startup)...
APPLICATION / Error / PerfNet / category = None / Event ID = 2004
description = cannot open server service. The performance data for the server will not be returned. The error code returned is the DWORD data 0...
=>Hooray! I made a few adjustments, and since then I no longer have this error message:
Performance logs and alerts SET TO MANUAL
Server service SET TO AUTOMATIC
This might be helpful to others...
Best wishes to everyone!
