DownloadHelper download issue Solved

Question

Hello,
I am reaching out to you regarding a problem I am experiencing with downloadhelper on Firefox; every video I try to download from YouTube using downloadhelper shows “0 bytes” in the downloads section. Previously, I had no issues; now, downloadhelper acts as if the video is downloading, but in fact, the file is empty. Has anyone else encountered the same issue?

Hi, I found the solution, you just have to share the video on Facebook, watch it, and right-click/downloadhelper next to the comments.     Sorry for the spelling mistakes.

No, currently I have download helper and no issues... You can try removing it and reinstalling, but I assure you it works for me. Otherwise, you can download other download managers available at the following link: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/search/?category=download-management&sort=recommended%2Cusers&type=extension

Well, I'm reassured! It's been 48 hours that I've been pulling my hair out because it's not working for me either. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing!
Maybe we need to be patient and wait!

Hello, I managed to work around the problem because I absolutely needed to download videos to prepare my classes. I found the alternative solution while surfing the internet. When you launch the video to be downloaded on YouTube, you need to add "pwn" after "www." in the video address (at the top), then hit enter. A window will open, and you have to click on "Download MP4 video." I hope I have been clear!

Hello! I just had the same problem; downloadhelper indicates a download, and the receiving folder in my video library remains empty. I searched my computer by typing the name of the video, which I actually found in a new folder created by dwhelper, probably due to an update, in my administrator folder (Windows 7).
