Hello, I am also a victim of the same pressure at Coco. As soon as I logged in, a pop-up appeared and told me that my chat time had expired even though I had been there for less than 2 minutes. This pop-up is frozen and asks me to switch to a paid premium subscription. Reading the comments, many people have fallen victim to this scam at Coco. I have sent emails to understand and to have them explain why, as my behavior has not been dishonest. Given the number of negative comments, I believe it’s a common practice at Coco to apply pressure for this premium subscription. Many people are turning to fraud repression authorities and the police, and so on, because aside from this pressure for a premium subscription, their site seems very shady, even very, very questionable. Those who have frequented this site can provide numerous testimonies about what goes on inside.. prostitution pricing. Lille's point is openly displayed, minors preyed upon by predators, and so on, and so forth. I encourage all victims of this fraudulent scheme to take action with the authorities. This Coco chat site completely disregards the laws.. it is high time to change all this, and together let’s ban this site..

There are many abuses regarding bans at Coco; they ask you to pay for a premium subscription while the site is free and public, which I think is illegal. There is a petition that I went to sign called "Shut Down the Coco Site" on the site "My Opinions." Feel free to go sign it; they are almost at the end of the process to submit it.

Hello, feel free to go sign the petition on the "mes opinions" website. It's written "fermer coco fr" on the "mes opinions" site... I believe they currently have 18,830 signatures.

      Hello,

You're repeating yourself, 3 times in as many days.

Whether a petition gathers 3 signatures or 5 million, it will be null and void.

Only legal action could have any effect, and a class action (which must go through an authorized organization) has no chance of succeeding because the material harm is not established or significant and, in any case, a website does not qualify as a professional.

An individual legal action is always possible, provided it can be proven that it is the website itself and not its users that would be guilty of the numerous offenses that have been highlighted.

One can certainly complain about the lack of moderation, the disregard for GDPR, or whatever else, but that won't get you far: if the police, clearly informed of these abuses, have not shut down the site, it seems legally impossible in the current state; outside the business world, CNIL sanctions remain hypothetical and difficult to implement.

As for the rest, it is evident that a site that allows anyone to connect as many times as they wish under different pseudonyms without any registration or age control encourages all sorts of deviance; in other words, one must wonder what someone who does not want to be subjected to or at least informed of these deviant behaviors is doing there.

I'm also on Coco's chat and today they are asking me to switch to premium, I have to pay just like you, no problem with them, and suddenly they tell you now you have to pay, it's really outrageous.

Hi, since I changed my phone, I thought it was related to that? But no, it's even written that there’s no need to send emails, it’s final. I'm so disappointed; I had a lot of people I talked to and I had friends. I’ve always been polite and etc.... But I think they're doing this to make money because there are many of us like that. Plus, I set my phone up correctly, it's just forcing it. I'm trying to find an equivalent free site without registration but I can't find one, and it's a shame because it's always nice to chat, especially if you're in the same city. I wrote to them but got no response as they said, so I removed everything from my phone on coco and I don’t think I'm going to do a good review. What bothers me are the (friends) I had and that I can't talk to anymore. Take care, if you have news or know something else, let me know, thanks.

Hello, it's the same for me. What bothers me is the friends I had. I always paid attention; I don't understand why they're forcing us to pay. I know I won't do it. I loved this site, but it's not easy to find another one in the same style. I'm struggling. I enjoyed chatting, etc.... And also the discussions with people far away that we talked to regularly. I don't understand why they're forcing it. I sent an email, but despite writing it's useless; it's final, we have to become premium even without having done anything, and they never responded. I thought it was because I changed my phone, but that's not it. So if you know another site in the same style, I would appreciate it. Wishing you a good day.

The same thing happened to me, even though I rarely go there. It has just become a fraudulent site that seeks to take money by any means necessary. It's better to stay away from it.

Hello, after a certain period of time, the site becomes this gives you new features on the site, ranging from 5 to 45 euros per year depending on the duration of the subscription you choose, but you can stop whenever you want, there is no automatic renewal, you decide whether to stop or not.

Hi, I understand you. The same thing is happening to me. They say the time limit has been exceeded and ask me to choose a name to continue. For a supposedly free site, it's a big scam. What should I do??

I completely agree. Anyone can sign you up without your knowledge. That's what is happening to me. No control and I don't know how to remove myself from this site which I believe is from Côte d'Ivoire. The police are investigating.

I wonder about the crowd of girls connected on this site, I wonder if it's true. I speak well, but they either respond poorly or not at all. So I Google WhatsApp numbers. I tell the girls, if you have nothing to do, go on Facebook. In any case, I've never hooked up with anyone on Coco Badoo. I wonder if there are real people or if they're programmed machines. I don't know, but it's been at least 8 years since I've been on there, and I swear I hooked up with nobody, neither in France nor in the DOM.

Everything is bogus on this shitty site..

Personally, I wouldn't have waited 8 years to go for something safer and more 'profitable'..

      Talk later!

Récemment, deux adolescentes de 14 et 15 ans ont été arrêtées pour proxénétisme. Elles racolaient les hommes sur ce site... Les clients ont été retrouvés et condamnés.

Feel free to go sign the online petition called "Close Coco fr" on the site Mes Opinions.. and by the way, you are also on the fraud service. Because it is indeed a fraud.
