Hello,
I would like to open files in .dta format (and also find out exactly what that is).
They were sent to me in this format, and I'm not quite sure how to use them.
Can someone help me with this?
Thank you in advance!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 23.0.1271.95

Hello,
If we want it in spreadsheet format, we can just change the extension to .csv directly in the file name, and then open it in a software like Excel or OpenOffice by choosing the appropriate separators.

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
So with Excel, I'm not quite sure how to "set it up," it seems like everything opens in a single line for me...
With Notepad++, it's not bad, except that everything isn't neatly in columns, so it's not easy to visualize the data and understand it.
Have you ever had these issues?
Do you know how to deal with them?
Thanks again.
